The Guesthouse East in Eastbourne has the ideal location.  This boutique B&B, which offers bed and breakfast or self catering, is on a tranquil side street just moments from the beach and bandstand. We’re just a 5-minute walk from the pier, theatres, bandstand, a wealth of restaurants and Devonshire Park, home of the LTA championships, and we are just over a mile from the foot of the glorious South Downs. HOW TO GET HERE
From Heathrow / North of England
From the M25, take the M23 to Brighton, continue on the A23. Just before Brighton take the A27, sign-posted Lewes/Worthing. Follow the A27 to Lewes. You will soon see signs for Eastbourne. Continue along here for about 40 minutes. As you approach Eastbourne, follow brown tourist signs for the seafront (crossing lots of roundabouts). When you get to the seafront continue to Eastbourne pier. Drive past the pier and you will see the Mansion Hotel on your right, when you see this, turn right into Hartington Place. We are number 13, opposite the Vernon House Hotel.
From Gatwick
As above, but you join in the directions already on the M23 (head south towards Brighton).

PARKING
There is parking directly outside our hotel in Eastbourne and we have vouchers available to guests – just £1 per day. The Trinity Place NCP car park is on the next block to ours - if you wish to park here, turn right before you get to the Chatsworth Hotel.

Arriving by train

Follow Terminus Road towards the seafront. Before reaching the seafront, at a crossroads with TJ Hughes department store on your left, turn right on to Trinity Trees.  Hartington Place is then the second left and we’re number 13, on the right hand side close to the seafront. Or grab a taxi just outside the train station if your bags are heavy…
